How to Prepare a Bedside Glasses and Microfiber Pouch
Give glasses, a lens cloth, and a soft pouch a small tray so they are not set down randomly at night.

Clear the nightstand

Move receipts, books, and loose items away, leaving only what you need at bedtime.
A simpler surface makes glasses less likely to be crushed or knocked down.
Do not place glasses on the floor or in bedding.
Wipe the tray

Use a soft cloth to remove dust from the small tray.
Lenses and cleaning cloths can pick up fine grit.
Avoid rough paper towels on lenses.
Open the soft pouch

Open the microfiber pouch and lay it flat inside the tray.
If it is ready, you can put glasses away with one hand at night.
Clean out grit or hard objects before using the pouch.
Clean the lenses

Gently wipe fingerprints and dust from the lenses with a microfiber cloth.
A quick night wipe makes morning vision clearer.
Do not dry-wipe lenses with visible grit; remove grit first.
Fold and slide inside

Fold the arms and slide the glasses gently into the pouch.
The pouch reduces scratches from cups, keys, or other bedside objects.
Do not force glasses into a pouch that is too small.
Keep it away from the edge

Place the filled pouch inside the tray, away from the table edge.
Distance from the edge lowers the chance of knocking it down at night.
Do not place the tray where a water glass can wet it.
Store the cloth separately

Fold the lens cloth and place it in another corner of the tray, not on top of the glasses.
A separate cloth stays cleaner and is easy to find in the morning.
Air dry a damp cloth before folding it.
Return the empty pouch

After putting glasses on in the morning, leave the empty pouch in the tray for tonight.
Keeping the pouch in place helps the habit continue.
Clear the tray as soon as clutter returns.
